Refund/Return Policy

At Portugal Travel Concierge®, we strive to offer tailored travel experiences by coordinating services with various third-party providers. Due to the nature of our business, which involves booking services through external partners (e.g., hotels, airlines, transport services, and activity providers), we have a No Refunds policy as a default.
However, we understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is requested. This policy outlines our approach to handling such requests.
1. No Refunds Policy
As a general rule, Portugal Travel Concierge® does not offer refunds for services booked on behalf of clients. Once a booking is confirmed, payments are non-refundable due to the varying refund policies of our third-party partners, over whom we have no control.
2. Refund Requests
While our policy is to not offer refunds, we are committed to assisting our clients in pursuing any potential refunds from third-party providers. If you believe you may be eligible for a refund under a specific provider's policy, you may submit a refund request to us.
To request a refund:
Email us at info@portugaltravelconcierge.com with the details of your request, including your booking information and the reason for the refund request.
We will review your request and liaise with the relevant third-party providers to explore any available refund options.
3. Third-Party Refunds
Any refunds that are successfully processed through third-party providers will be subject to the terms and conditions of those providers. Portugal Travel Concierge® will not charge additional fees for assisting in the refund process, but any fees deducted by third parties (e.g., cancellation fees, processing fees) will be passed on to the client.
Please note that the timeframes and outcomes of refund requests depend entirely on the third-party provider’s policies.
4. Partial Refunds
In some cases, partial refunds may be possible if certain portions of the trip or services are canceled or altered. This will also be contingent upon the policies of the third-party providers.
5. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
No-shows: Failure to show up for a scheduled service without prior notice.
Late cancellations: Cancellations made after the allowable cancellation period set by the third-party provider.
Non-refundable bookings: Certain bookings, especially last-minute or discounted rates, may be non-refundable according to the provider's terms.
6. Force Majeure
In cases of force majeure (e.g., natural disasters, pandemics), refunds will be handled according to the specific policies of the third-party providers involved. Portugal Travel Concierge® will assist clients in exploring any possible refunds or rescheduling options.
7. Refund Currency and Payment Method
Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in the original payment method and currency. Please be aware that foreign exchange fees or fluctuations may affect the final refund amount.
