We are Pedro and Nuno.
We grew up here, we live here, and between the two of us we've spent a long time exploring every corner of this country - not as tourists, but as people who are genuinely curious about where they come from.
That curiosity is what led us to start Portugal Travel Concierge.
Portugal is where we're from.
Showing it properly is what we do.
WHY WE STARTED THIS
We kept seeing the same thing: people arriving in Portugal full of excitement, leaving with a trip that was fine. Perfectly acceptable. And it drove us a little crazy, honestly - because we knew what they'd missed.
The wine estate where the family still eats lunch together in the cellar. The fishing village that hasn't been written up anywhere yet. The back road through Alentejo that adds twenty minutes to the trip but changes everything. Portugal has so much in it, and so much of it goes unseen.
We wanted to fix that. So we did.
What we believe about portugal
Portugal is one of the oldest countries in Europe. Its history is everywhere, in the architecture, the food, the music, the way people talk about the sea. It's a place that rewards slowness and curiosity in equal measure.
It is not, with respect, just custard tarts and a cheap flight from London.
We want the people who travel with us to leave knowing they actually saw Portugal. Not the surface of it. The real thing.
How we work
We plan everything ourselves. We're not passing your trip to a team of junior coordinators or working from a catalogue of pre-set itineraries. When you travel with us, Pedro or Nuno has personally thought through your journey, chosen your experiences, and will be reachable throughout.
That's not a selling point we invented. It's just how we operate
